Course Methods and Techniques
|
The course instructor presents key concepts and terms critical to understanding the course. Discussion is an important factor in this class; therefore, student’s participation is required. Students are expected to be present (i.e. attendance will normally be noted) and to make constructive contributions to the class discussion on a regular basis. I will randomly call on students reluctant to volunteer throughout the semester to give everybody a chance to express his or her opinions. Homework activities and cases will be assigned throughout the semester to give students the chance to practice applying the tools. Based on past experience, staying current with the homework is critical to doing well in this class (No late homework will be accepted).
