Course Methods and Techniques The course instructor presents key concepts and terms critical to understanding the course. Discussion is an important factor in this class; therefore, student’s participation is required. Students are expected to be present (i.e. attendance will normally be noted) and to make constructive contributions to the class discussion on a regular basis. I will randomly call on students reluctant to volunteer throughout the semester to give everybody a chance to express his or her opinions. Homework activities and cases will be assigned throughout the semester to give students the chance to practice applying the tools.
