Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to enable the student to learn and use simple everyday expressions, words and language structures in order to communicate and meet their needs at the most basic level in Turkish and to reach these levels in listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.
Course Content Grammar topics that will enable communication at a basic level will be covered practically through reading, writing, listening and speaking activities. The most needed patterns and uses in daily life will be emphasized.

Each student will be writing a Final Composition: “İşte bu benim hayatım” (Here is my life). At the end of the semester each student will present his/her composition to the class and answer the questions.
Ödevler ders kitabı ve çalışma kitabındaki alıştırmalardan ve yazma çalışmalarından ve dersin hocasının temin edeceği kitap dışı malzemelerden ve duyuracağı görevlerden oluşur. Rutin ödevler dışında dersin hocası tarafından dönem boyunca 5 performans ödevi verilir. Performans ödevleri yıl sonu notunu %20 oranında etkileyecektir.
Bir ara sınav yapılacaktır.
