Objectives of the Course The aim of the course is to analyse the concepts and legislation of Competition Law that will enable students to solve the problems related to Competition Law and to provide students with the ability to apply this knowledge on the basis of concrete cases.
Course Content Regulations in the field of Competition Law, explanations on anti-competitive situations, elimination of the consequences arising from competition violations, punishment of those responsible for acts and agreements that prevent competition, organisation of the Competition Authority, administrative duties, authority and scope of investigation, objection procedure to decisions.

1 Define the basic concepts of competition law such as the concept of competition, concerted practices, restrictive and prohibitive agreements and abuse of dominant position
2 Discuss the purpose of competition regulation, emphasising the need for regulation in goods and services markets
3 Question the supervision and prevention of abuse of dominant position by undertakings
4 Evaluate the concepts of exemption, individual and group exemptions
5 Compare undertakings and associations of undertakings in competition law
6 Decide on sanctions for competition infringement
7 Solve legal problems related to competition law
