Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to increase the student's basic knowledge on joint stock company law and to provide information on current developments. In addition, it is to develop the student's ability to conduct research and scientific work in the specific field and to interpret judicial decisions. The course covers the types of joint stock companies, share, shareholder, board of directors, members of the board of directors, responsibility, audit, general assembly and the concept of minority, amendment of the articles of association, dissolution and liquidation of a joint stock company.
Course Content Within the scope of the course, the definition, importance, features, classification, establishment, functioning, organs, relations between partners, legal status of partners, concept of share, types of shares, change of articles of association, termination and liquidation of companies are examined.
