Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course is to analyze the basic concepts and principles of trade union rights and freedoms in the context of Turkish Law and international law and to gain the necessary knowledge and skills about the legal problems related to the exercise of trade union rights and freedoms and to conduct research on possible solutions.

Course Content
|
In this course, historical development of trade union rights, trade union organization, trade union concept, trade union rights and freedoms, various forms of union rights and guarantees It is examined in the context of International Law and Turkish Law. Within the scope of this course, the basic principles, international conventions, current problems and judicial decisions regarding trade union freedoms are examined with a critical perspective.

Course Methods and Techniques
|
This course adopts an integrative teaching approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical analysis. Weekly sessions focus on the historical development and constitutional foundations of trade union rights and freedoms, examined within the context of Turkish and international law. The course employs the following methods:
Comparative legal analysis,
Case studies and judicial decision evaluations,
Text reading and interpretation exercises,
In-class discussions and group work,
Student research and presentations. Through these methods, students gain the ability to understand the fundamental principles of trade union rights and freedoms, analyze legal issues arising in practice, and propose well-grounded legal solutions.
