Objectives of the Course
|
- To have knowledge about the resources on property regimes in the marriage union. (1.1)
- To have knowledge about the concepts of legal property regime, contractual property regime, ordinary property regime, extraordinary property regime, optional property regime, acquired property, personal property, share of increase in value, equalisation claim, residual value, participation claim. (1.1)
- To evaluate the relations between different property regimes. (2.1)
- To be able to interpret and evaluate the rules about the property regimes regulated in the Turkish Civil Code. (2.2)
- To be able to work independently on projects related to property regime. (3.2.5)
- To be able to define and share the problems and solution proposals on issues related to property regime. (3.3.2)

Course Content
|
Within the scope of the course, the property regimes in the marriage union, which is one of the basic subjects of Civil Law and regulated within the scope of Family law relations in the second book of the Civil Code, are discussed. In this context, the legal property regime and contractual / optional property regime, extraordinary property regime, more specifically, as a legal property regime, important issues such as right ownership, termination and liquidation in the regime of participation in acquired property are examined.
