Objectives of the Course The aims of this course to provide psychologist with the following skills
1) Recognition of psychopathological conditions in children and adolescents, and learning of clinical processes.
2) To learn the relations between, causes and treatment approaches of psychopathological processes in children and adolescents.
3) To learn to develop a integrative approach to the treatment of childhood psychopathologies
4) To be able to apply the knowledge and techniques learned in the course to their daily life problems
5) To be able to apply the knowledge learned in the course for the definition and solution of the various psychological problems in the clinical environment.


Course Content This course focuses on informantion about description, definition and classification of psychopathology in children and also the causes of psychopathology and reviewing of the treatment process in the clinic.

1 Defines the psychopathological conditions in childhood and adolescence clinically and explains the reasons.
2 Understands the differential diagnosis of psychopathological conditions in childhood and adolescence.
3 Recognizes holistic treatment approaches for psychopathological conditions in childhood and adolescence.
4 Explain the development of psychological problems to other people using this holistic approach.
5 Apply this information to solve the problems encountered in the clinical environment, select the appropriate diagnosis and plan the treatment process.
6 Understands the basic principles and point of view of the holistic approach and can propose solutions that are compatible with different situations and different cultures, benefit from cultural values compatible with the approach and develop new ideas when necessary.
