Objectives of the Course This course builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired in Basic Latin I. It aims to develop students’ understanding of Latin verb tenses, participles, sentence structures, and translation skills. Students will also practice reading and comprehension through selected passages from Roman history and classical authors.
Course Content The course covers verb tenses (imperfect, future, perfect), participle constructions, pronouns, and complex sentences. Selected texts are analyzed along with grammar exercises.
Course Methods and Techniques The course is conducted through lectures, applied grammar exercises, short reading passages, and translation practices. Students are encouraged to participate actively through in-class activities and discussions.
