Objectives of the Course The historical development of the Turkish economy, important decisions taken and its economic status are discussed in detail and to provide students with knowledge about the Turkish economy.
Course Content The course provides a historical, institutional and structural framework necessary for students to analyze the main characters of the current problems of the Turkish economy. In this sense, processes and concepts such as national economy, statism, liberal system, import substitution period, open capital domination, financialization and hot money sovereignty will be discussed in detail.
