Objectives of the Course • Having theoretical and practical knowledge about international commercial law concepts and institutions.
• To find out solutions to problems in practice by following the current developments in international commercial law.
•Practical assessment of the role of international agreements in international commercial law
Course Content The main aim of this course is to examine sources of lex mercatoria and Convention on International Sale of Goods, CISG, which are important sources of international Commercial law, and to evaluate developments in international Commercial law. Thus, the sources of International Commercial Law, CISG, INCOTERMS, Letters of Credit, Letter of Guarantee, dispute settlement in international commercial law will be discussed in this course.
